To keep it short for tonight, I was soldering the connection for my interior light and touched the wires together while connected. Hey I had to use the interior light to see what I was doing!

So now I have no dash lights, no brake lights but i have head lights and no blown fuses. 1/2 the fuse block is dead (bottom) the top 1/2 is fine.

Any suggestions?

Oh btw here I am on the RTI ramp in reno - 850

Possibly fusible link...seeing as int light is constant hot (as opposed to keyed hot). Should be firewall area engine side, at least it is on the second/third gen stuff.

There is two inline glass fuses in the stock underhood wire harness. One in each corner where the fenders meet the radiator support. Both are black wires with rubber boots that cover the fuse. They take short fuses also. Hope this helps.

Good information I'll check this afternoon and see if those are still there.

Good information about the sealed mini fuses near the radiator, one was blown. Once I swapped them around the dome lights worked just fine again. Seems like a box of mini fuses is in order. Thanks.

I was starting to feel bad about not posting anything here nor visiting for a few months. I just spent about an hour browsing the 69-72 section and suddenly I dont feel too bad.
