I know BB06 just happened, and it's a long way off to BB07... but I just wanted to suggest that where ever BB07 is going to be, there should be a shooting range near by so we can go offroading AND shooting all in the same weekend. I think it would be a BLAST (pun intended) and I can't imagine more fun than guns and trucks... unless you include wimmen...

If you are serious about it , we can go to a range one day . I can't find a phone number , but there is a place called Moab Sportsmen Club . If not , we can drive up the highway a bit one day , if we are back early enough . Wheeling first !!

Utah law says in a vehicle no loaded guns . So I leave mine in the hard case unloaded . The law also says loaded is fine in your camp , home , or hotel room .

Sweet. Now I know exactly when to have it "done" by, It's gotta drive itself there and back with NO problems. Also, are the planned trails gonna be the same as they were last year? Can my friend bring his early Bronco? Thanks, Kevin

(Sorry to Hi Jack)

Never been. Where is it usually held or better yet, where will it be held this year? I actually have that weekend off! ( 12 hr shifts, every other fri, sat, sun off)

If you can ever put the coin together to make the trip, it's worth it to make the trek at least once.

yea you wouldn't be saying that if you DIDN'T live a few hours from Moab  or if you were like us poor bastards that poor all their money into their rigs only to find out that we didn't even leave enough money to fill up the tanks :doah: One day my Blazer & Moab will meet...probably not until i go four link front and rear with unimogs :eek1: :haha:

I used to visit Moab when I lived in Virginia Beach, VA. :dunno:

It's an 7-8hr trip for me. I just budget for the trip a year ahead of time. To me it's worth that much planning. And you certainly don't need a super built truck to do it. I drive my truck to and from Blazer Bash. I've been going to Moab since we made the first trip in a stock S10 Blazer.

hell im tryin to get my k5 going for ejs and then bb07 ejs may be o long shot though

id love to take the burb down there but thats right during hunting season. hopefully ill kill em during archery season(sept) and then i can make it.:D

Sounds like a plan

That sounds like a good time. Just picked up a new Kimber .45 that I'm in love with and I'm in the process of getting my other love trail ready in time for BB07. Only one problem...Getting there from So. California. I need to try to find someone who can trailor me out. Unfortunately I'm the only one of my close friends that gives a shi*t about wheeling. So hitching a ride is not going to be easy. I just don't think my 70 is ready to make the 14-15 hour drive. Any suggestions?

If things go really well, I might be able to pull bofus on a gooseneck behind a Sooper Dooty. Some company and someone to split the fuel cost with would be cool.
