What year is it? There wasn't a tag, but I'm guessing it's an early 90s?

any interior shots? you can narrow it down a little more if there is a dash in it

92-95? the one ton 4x4 chevys still had the old front clips and straight axle through 91 its the 3/4 and 1/2 tons that were the newer body style in 88

Incorrect. Only the crewcabs stayed with the older body style until 1991. By '89 ALL of the regular cabs and non-crewcabs were the newer body style. I know in '88 you could still get both body styles basically as there was a guy on ORC/Chevy that had a '88 3/4 ton that was the old style.

I think it's nearly impossible to get the year, even with some dash pics. Nothing had a major change on these truck till 95 when they got the new dash. Got the newer grille in 93, but since this one doesn't have it, hard to tell. The two-tone paint makes me think it's late 80s, early 90s. Couple of different ways of narrowing it down, but not garaunteed to be correct, just what I've noticed on these.

What rear is in it?? My 89 had a Dana 70HD in it, and noticed others had the same rear that year(s). In the 90s they used the 14ff.

What tranny?? 4-speed or TH400 up to 91. 4-speed into 91, but 4L80 in 91.

ABS?? IIRC 91 is when they started rear wheel, but again, not garaunteed to be correct.

gauge cluster was diffrent from 88-around 90-91 then to 94 thay had actuale needles. the first styles were the half moon style gauges that would move round to fill up the slots.

and look for build tag on door jamb. top right corner i think on tag. it would read somthing like 06/88 or 03/90 thats the month/year it was built for.

I am going by what looks to be the washer tank on the drivers fender. I know that the later ones did not have it there.

I don't know if you are right either. I think I have seen reg cab C & C up til '91. So, not one tons, just C & C in the old body style (yes and crew cabs too).

Truck had a FF 14 bolt. I have it now.

No telling on tranny as that and the motor was already gone.
There was also no build sticker anywhere and for some reason never checked the VIN. Im just asking because of the 14 bolt. Just like knowing what came out of what that I have. I appericiate the help. Ill check that VIN

If that stuff is gone, check the wiring if any, that goes to the tranny. Most likely been cut, but never know. Also check the RPO tag in the glovebox, and just thought of this, check on the ringgear of the 14ff, should have a date stamp on there somewhere....
