Here's what I'm thinking....
unimog 416 with all the upgrades
custom tube frame
narrowed BODY not just front and rear.
90 degree approach and departure angles
some sort of monster... diesel, twin turbo big block, etc..
th400 and stak
42 inch pitbulls or something similar
full family cage...
what else is important to you guys? If all goes well I could actually afford this in a year or 2.

Holy smokes you do still come around. After you became a mod I haven't seen much of ya'. Have you seen the truck for sale in the complete section? It has the axles and such you are looking for maybe you could chat with him and save yourself some time when it comes time to build it up....

this is what I want :D this one is sitting on gm 1 tons, 38's with unmodifed hummer rims....

but anyways, I'm a huge cherokee fan.... been thinking about ditching the burban and swaping in my 1tons,38's and adding in a atlas and I'm set..... but then again I love wheeling my huge burban...

How narrow are those? It looks like it would flex well except for clearance issues, looks pretty cool though for a Jeep.

Yeah, what chassis? Blazer/Pickup/other?

rockwells, narrowed 7"... full hydro... pinion brakes... single seat buggy with airshocks, ungodly-large/heavy lower links with evo joints. Small FI'd gas burner (4.3?), Stak 3 speed, HAD shafts.

First gen blazer, 1-tons's or 'mogs, 44 boggers or 46 claws, links, 4 wheel disk brakes, blown 454 or other bbc, 465, 203/205, and other usual upgrades. I'm not too into radical rigs, but practical ones with a lot of power

haha. THe alpha is the duramax/allison, right?
Those are pretty sweet if your into the hummer thing....sure beats the hell out of the old diesel in teh H1

k5 body, boxed frame, duramax/allison combo with all upgrades pushing 600rwhp and 1500ft-tq. 2.5ton rockwells, atlas t-case, coils at every corner, beadlocks 42" iroks

why are some of you choosing rockwells over mogs? And are the mog u1300's better than the 416's?
I'd still like to seat 4 or more and have the metal body... I like the idea of denting it :D You can't really dent fiberglass the same way.

'cause Rockies are all American... not some eurotrash poopoo. ;) :thumb:

I really like what Ouverson is doing with the Rocky aftermarket.. and ground clearance would be just fine with one of them aftermarket skids and 53" michelins.

From a pure performance stand point, I guess it doesn't make complete sense to choose rockies over mogs.... but then again you could say the same thing about sheetmetal and seating for 4+...
