i hate it .

today i was using a cut off wheel and had my tight fitting safety glasses on and watching were my sparks were going . . . . but i still get sh!t in my dam eye's . . .

i wish there was a real good set of safety glasses out there that sealed up good and didnt fog over in 30 sec of use on us guys out in the heat/humidity .

to make it worse i have a gut churning / stress inducing / cant sleep phobia about stuff to do with eye's . and its worse with my own .

After having a piece of metal removed from my eye, I will never go back to anything less than full coverage.

You'd think that. After having the metal pulled out of my eye that's what I switched to. Doesn't really do as good as I'd have hoped. I think the grinding dust comes in thru the vent holes/foam

I never get it from the fling of Sparks. Every time I have had metal in my eyes, is when I remove my welding hat. I have become anal about closing my eyes and blowing the metal off be fore I remove the hat.

Bought a set of these recently and so far they've worked pretty well. Have a foam 'gasket' around them that does a decent job. Doesn't get foggy either somehow..

well, you live in AZ so.....
the humidity plays a big factor in fogging...same as sweating, when there is so much water in the air, its hard to have it evaporate from your skin.
Brett I've used antifog wipes on my glasses for riding...works decent, but then I'm not sweating like a hog, like I do cutting and other "work" type situations.

I've had fogging on some goggles. Just because it's drier here doesn't mean stuff doesn't fog.
