The front brake lines I got from ORD are nearly a mile long, and they are the shortest ones they sell, however I love the length as far as twising up the axles but one of them started rubbing on the inside of my tire and has worn part of the plastic sheath off:doah:

I was wondering if any one can post some pics of their setups; such as something holding the line to the frame, right now I got bungees on there but they will rot out soon

Any ideas?:dunno:

Most zip tie to the shock, in the middle of the hose's length.

I once saw a guy rig up a throttle return spring attached to the frame and brake line. Axle goes down, spring stretches.

that's what I'm thinkin', and have a small eye bolt put on the frame so the spring can have something to hook to...

As long as you don't wear the brake line at the spring attachment point.

Really, try the zip tie method. Should be fine for all but the most flexible suspensions.

Keep It Simple Stupid, here I am trying to come up with something fancy here when I could have the problem fixed with a simple zip tie, I'll give it a try:thumb:

You'd have to do the brakes bleeding again , but you could also take the line off and put some large that shrinks small heat shrink over the line , then put a rubber lined clamp over it to have a place for a spring if you go the spring route .

Mine are held on loosely through a clamp on the shock like most aftermarket ones

Yep, I zip tied my front lines to the shocks and they've been that way for 9 years now.

Mine are just flopping around in the breeze... guess I should take care of that but so far I haven't had any problems.

You can see the spring holding mine. I did have them tied to the old shock set up too. Easy to do and works great.
