had few extra min at buddys place. found few scraps of metal.

took and layed out the 1410 pattern and the 1350 pattern. then drilled the holes . also did nice size hole in center for diffrent size sockets.

then welded on a section of pipe for nice handle. 12" long and 1" on to the plate.

most i was finding only went to 1350 or didnt say for sure. so screw it i made my own yoke holder. now just needs some paint.

big thanks to my friend bob for his help in the math / layout of the 2 patterns. :thumb:

pic #1 = 1410 pattern.
pic #2 = 1350 pattern.

mind if we use this thread for other tools people have made? Stuff is kinda neat and I've been looking to post up a spark plug tool I made.

And yes, very cool what a little time and a welder can do, or do so you can do other things. do do do :)

I made my own flywheel wrench last week. I'll get a pic or two tomorrow.

An old manual flywheel (out of my K5) makes a great attachment to a floor jack for transmission installations. Just bolted it to the floor jack and worked great on my Evo. It may not be tall enough for a lifted truck but it works great on most cars.
