Okay, really dumb question. How do you clean a K&N air filter? I have the conditioning bottom, but the label is worn off. I've bought several of these filter, but never owned one long enought to need to clean it.

So, what do I do it? TIA

Clean it in the evening when you plan on staying home. Should be dry by morning and you can oil an go.

Most large autoparts stores sell the kit. It includes the cleaner, and the new oil.

I prefer the "spray" oil vs the pump oil. DO NOT USE ATF or OTHER OILS. A light coating is all you need
