i found someone selling a d60 rear thats on a 76 pickup. He's asking for $150. Would this bolt on to an 88 Blazer? I currently have a 10bolt rear.

Eh, for that you can get a 14BFF. If it's a 3/4 ton PU it'll drop into your truck, yes. If it's from a 1-ton the perches would have to be re-welded. Oh, and if it's a 2WD truck, the shock mounts may be wrong.

Me, I'd hold out for a 14BFF. The D60 rears are 'bout as strong, IIRC, but harder to find as a drop-in. Though the choice of lockers is nice, seeing as 14's don't have many options.

any ideas?? Here is a pic of the axle
that most likely will not bolt right in, but not a bad price for a 60 rear. the work you would put in to it in MY eyes is worth the evtra ground clearance and gear ratios on the market today.
5.13 is the lowest you can go on a 14FF, i think 7. something is the lowest you can go on a 60... and an extra 1.5 inches of non anchor edges....

If you have any big army surplus stores around they might have 60s cheaper around here you can get a 60 rear from a Dodge for about 75 bucks
