interesting.. so you started with a built up 2wd trans, and this adapts a 205 to slide onto the trans just like the driveshaft used to?? and the fancy aluminum mount is a new tailcone and adapter all in one shot?
please tell me they make one of those for my 2wd TUNDRA??!!

If you look at the pics above the gear goes inside the transfer case
And the adapter makes it bolt to the trans

The 2wd th400 has a tailshaft that sticks out 4.5”, this is the same as a factory pre ‘85 figure 8 400/205 combo. The 400 in my old K10 came out of an Astro van (HD case too).
