I need a ladder....

Got the same problem with my Blazer; much taller than I first thought!! /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

My solution is going to be nerf bars that hinge on the frame. WHen I open the doors; the nerf will lower for entry; when the doors close; the raise up tight to the body again.

Sinilar to the electric steps but since my Blazer will have onboard hydraulics anyway; what's an extra fitting! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Maybe add a small Hiab for the mother-in-law...what's another fitting?

I was thinking of the rope swing idea also, my wife is kinda short and had a hard time getting in before. now it's 7" taller and has the rollcage in it!! A friend of mine has a j@#p cj5 lifted with 38's, when his wife was prego he brought along a 3 step folding ladder and she used that. was just enough! makes you look like a real gentleman too!!

Saw someone once with a rubber-maid step with a rope tied to it. The other end of the step was tied to the seat frame. Just pull it up when your done. Kinda cheesy but cheap & effective.

I've been thinking about putting a handle on the dash next to the glove box to keep my wife from using the door for leverage.

Onc esaw an 80 year old man get his 80 year old wife into his huge toyota with a step ladder. He jsut pulled it out of the bed of the truck for her.

I just use the grab the ass method. works great.

She can also pull herself in by the cage. Like a workout for the arms. Good for ya.

If it wasnt for the grab a$$ method my wife wouldnt go. If I dont give her butt a boost shes hangin on my doors /forums/images/icons/mad.gif and that wont do.

Every time I mention lifting it more she says she wont be able to get in.,... I told her the roll cage will give her something to pull on... she says what roll cage /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
