IN A JUNKYARD, UNDER A TRUCK*N E Rust Belt
I've taken a vacation in Palm Springs California, and bought a 1995 Suburban 6.5 TD 4x4. I will be looking for new tires Monday morning for the trip to Phoenix and the Grand Canyon. I have a Corvair Rampside pickup in Ash Fork that I will be buying a trailer for to tow to Indiana.

The Clarion radio doesn't work, and I'd like to change the oil, grease the suspension, and was wondering if a fellow member wouldn't mind lending me a little space, and maybe some expertise. I can do some of these things in a parking lot, but if you have some time early this week, I plan to head to Phoenix to pick up my wife at the Phoenix airport Tuesday evening, then heading north on 17 to Flagstaff. My plans are Flexible, as I could use some parts at a junkyard for my other '84 6.2 4x4 Suburban.

I'll post a wanted ad in the classified section for the 8 lugs wheels I want.

I can be texted or called at 518-57two//645zero

I lent him my parking lot and some tools once on one of his "journeys".

Yup, 4x4HIGH really helped me out!!! This beast just needs a little help. I'm getting new tires and wheels tomorrow. Falken 285-75R16 LR E, with bling mags, out the door $1141. I didn't want to break down the factory alloys-245's. I'll sell them back home for $5-600. Few miles, rims like new... But sooooo skinny!!!

I went to 15-20 tire shops and junkyards looking for alloy wheels and best deal on tires. America's Tire Co was by far the best, except I had to pass on their road hazard, as there's no shop anywhere near me, but I do get 90 days road hazard, which will get me home with less worries.

Mrs hates these road trips, I LOVE em!!!

BTW, I can't post pix, as I havn't paid my dues, but you can see my vids at youtube/corvairwild/suburban/california
