I need a PIC badly... anyone with kc's or other lights, please help..

I need to figure out what order all this hardware goes to secure my kc's to the lightbar. Each light has 2 rubber disks, a washer, and big metal disk, and a bell shaped metal piece. Does anyone have close ups of the base of your lights? It would be awsome if somebody could snap a pic, or just tell me what order.

I would say it goes:

rubber, disk, rubber, and bell piece on top.

But that is just a guess.

put the bell then rubber then on the underside rubber then the steel washer then the nut

See the metal disk on top of the stack (there is a washer on top of that, but i'm not talking about the little washer). I'm wondering if there weren't origionally 2 metal disks per light. The disk is dished out. Odly enough, I have 1 extra disks, which leads me toward the conclusion that I really should have 8 metal disks iinstead of 4. Does anyone run lights with this mounting setup, or is it something from the mullet days?

I think it is missing 3 of those big disks. I will just get some large washers at the hardware store and maybe it will accomplish the same thing. KC doesn't seem to list that part on their website as for sale.

Send them an email. Their customer service rocks! They can probably get you the parts that you need.

you need to get another metal disc.. so the order is... KC light.. Bolt goes through the curved cap, 1metal disc.. then rubber disc.. bumper ur bolting it to.. then opposite side of bumper rubber piece.. metal disc.. then lock washer adn bolt.

Thanks guys. I emailed KC asking about the disks. If I can't get ahold of any easily, I will just try to substitute in some really large washers.

Heck ya they do. I called them up, and the guy said he would drop 3 of those big washer things in the mail for me, free of charge

They rebuilt 2 lights for me a couple of years or so ago. The lenses were separating from the reflector. I shipped them the old lights and when I got them back EVERYTHING had been replaced except the housings! New lamps, bulbs, wiring, cable sheath, and all the hardware. Yep. I'm a satisfied KC HiLites customer.

I'm not surprised that they're hooking ya up...
