I have only back from Korea for a week and already puffed the tranny in my Jimmy !! I guess sitting for a year was pretty rough on the ole girl. It wasn't driven but a couple of times in that year, only started every week or so. The Jimmy is a 1978 with the TH350/NP203 and I am in Kentucky. Anyone out there have a tranny that will work and one that is fairly close to central Kentucky? You can e-mail me at [email protected] if you have something !
Got one in a truck I want to part out. Its the K-case which uses the 6 bolt thick dust cover. Shifts real good, hard and crisp, BUT....the only problem is when shifting from park to reverse, its slow. Shifting to the forward gears goes right in gear. I'd like $250 for it.
