I need advice, I'm stupid! NP208 cracked tailshaft question.

Ok guys, I was trying to take out my rear output shaft seal and it cracked. It didn't even put that much pressure and it cracked. It's so Damm thin.

Can I get away with this by putting in a new seal? There Is that lip behind the crack. Damm Im dumb!

If it worries ya put a little tape on the inside of it and mix up some JB weld the tape is to keep the shape.

But it should be fine, little dab of silicone after the seal is in would be fine too if your worried

Sweet! If I hadn't just picked my new driveline, and having a spare to pick up on Monday, is get a Dodge case and do a cheap SYE. I will use this until I do my doubler. Thanks fellas.

This is why I shouldn't drink beer and try cap I've never done before. It was fun though.
