i need center console ideas--pics please

looking to do a different style center console. mine didnt come with one since it's military. i have a stock one from an 84, but it sucks. was thinking of doin ammo boxes, but have yet to find any that will work right. dont want to build custom mounts and tuffy is just too proud of their crap... damn near $300. anyhow, pics would be great if you have them.... thanks.

What transfer case do you have? Wondering how far back your shifters were moved - don't think I can fit the Tuffy with that location.....

Ryoken, Nice setup ther with the shifter integrated into the console. I don't want to take over the thread or anything so if you would be so kind as to E-Mail me so I can ask you some questions about how you put the shifter there and all. That's what I want to do with my truck. [email protected]

I have a Gen 1 ORD Doubler with triple sticks-

Shifter are in the stock location for the most part. I had to clearance the side of the floor pan, but as far as front to back location, they're stock.

here's a thread with some description on it.... the key with the AC shifter was to have a wall on either side.. the box is composite fiberglass, but could be done in metal too

I got the folding seat middle console from a late model dodge and booty-fabbed some brackets. Now the k5 seats 6.

Went to Walmart picked up one of those electric hot/cold coolers with the padded arm rest tops. I think it was about $50. This is in my rig that I really never wanted a console in but, it sure is easier than climbing in the back to get a drink or snack. I'll post some pics tonight. The cup holders on this cooler suck but they'll work when I'm sitting still.
