I didn't want to hijack another thread, so...

In my new job, I'm driving a lot, and I desperately need some form of GPS. I get my work orders via email, and as of right now, I'm just mapping it via Google maps and printing them up.

The problem is, sometimes a work order will be canceled, and my maps/directions are from point A, to B, to C, etc... If "B" is canceled, it's Hell to figure out how to get from A to C.

What are some of the cheaper offerings for street use only? I don't need off-road capability in my DirecTV van, although, this one customer's driveway could've technically been considered "wheeling" :p:...

yea, but i will warn u, new roads wont be in it, this is a problem with more than just that gps though. there only as updated as maps

Yeah, I know... every other guy at work has one. I know they don't show everything, but they do show 95% of it.

You can pick up a Nuvi for around 150, and it will allow you to type an address and it will take you there. Very nice user friendly unit, and really inexpensive. I loved the one I used, but I will buy a better model when I do.
