I got my motor back from the machine shop today and I put on a set of double hump heads. I want to keep the alternator and PS pump in the same location and I am wondering if anyone has any info on this. I guess I don't HAVE to keep them in the same location but I need both alternator and power steering pump. The heads are off of an old 327 I believe and are 461 castings and the block is a mid 70's truck motor 2 bolt main, nothing sepcial. I know for a fact I will be able to retain the lower brackets that bolt to the water pump and I might be able to make something work for the upper PS pump bolt. The upper alternator bolt is what has me... Any help or tips greatly appreciated.
