I need help with distributor

I need to know if my old HEI distributor will work on my new 350

The HEI come off of a 305 w/ a 4b Q-jet that had a electrical fitting in the carb

The 350 has a new 600 cfm elderbrock

nope. need a non 4 wire out back side hei to work. that was for fuel and spark control of dura spark ignition system. you will notice no vac advance probable.

I think I have a HEI/ESC; Do you know what would happen if I use it.
It does have a vac advance. And what would i lose if I got just a regular HEI

You're already throwin what computer there is out of whack, IF it's even working, by not using the stock carb, just yank the ESC dist, and instal a standard vacuum advance unit, hook it up old style.
