I need new exhaust bad. I like the dynomax bolt on kit in Jegs but they don't list a kit for the 73-79 blazers just for the 80-87 Bazers, will this kit fit my 77? This is a true duals exhaust, right? Also what is the intermediat pipe it says I need? What kind of headers would go good with this system? Thanks for any input.

have you tried local exhaust shops for getting an exhaust system? The price mught be comprable to ordering a kit it you get some headers and mufflers from summit or jegs and take them to the shop. As for the headers you will get what you pay for. i have a set of generic headers like summit or dynomax and i dont really have any problems with them. I am going to get a set of flowtech afterburners when i get the money though. On jegs.com they have a dual kit for headers listed for 73-88 blazers for $109 P/N 289-89005. Doesnt sound too bad.

Is the kit for the 73-88 Blazers a bolt-on kit?

I had a set of the flowtech afterburners on a 327 in my 68 camaro. Bad matchup for the lack of bottom end torque on a 327 but they delivered a great top end that was very smooth up the powerband!

Also what kind of mufflers would ya'll recomend? Would I need center in, center out or some kind of offset in the muffler?

I love the performance and sound of a Flowmaster, inset, centered or outset will depend on how you want to route them. Thankfully, you have a lot of room and a lot of options to be creative here.

The dynomax kit from Jegs fit great on my'73 with 350/th350/np203. You pretty much have to use their headers, which are cheap and work well for me.

The kit that says it's for 73-88 blazers, right, was it a direct bolt-on?

do wat i did, cut off the mufflers and get some like bendable tubing from pepboys, clamp it on and point it down. works for and gives me that nascar sound.

it said the kit was a bolt on kit including all necesary hardware except the muffles and headers.
