NJ for now
i just got a few hundred dollars of crap replaced at sears over the last week. many busted ratchets.

i would like to get something better now.. i have about 800 to spend right now. been told that will not go to far but thats what i have for now...

any recommendations? anyone here near or close to NJ sell mac or snap on?? if so send me a pm

I sell Matco Tools. If Ratchets are on your list, our 88 Tooth ratchet should be at the top of that list. Hit me up with a PM I can get you prices on whatever you are looking to get.

Those ratchets with the fine tooth indexing are freakin sweet. Get a swivel head ratchet they seem to be the most versatile.

The new fine tooth Snap On ratchets are damn nice as well.

ive got 2 fine tooth snapons. I agree, way better than standard ratchets. you can put tons of torque through it and it feels solid as hell.

I got a brand new "used" one off the Cornwell truck for $40. It was the standard Snap On 3/8" ratchet. The black paint was still on the drive. I was happy with that deal.

Then my bent handled flex head ratchet had a broken gear set in it, and the Snap On guy didn't have any new replacement gears for it, so he sold me just a new head with the fine tooth gears, for my flex head ratchet for $20.

Good deal for the upgrade, at least it sounds like it.

I routinely get Snap-On ratchets rebuilt when I get them traded in. Often there is something wrong with the ones traded in to me so I get them repaired by a Snap On guy and bam, good as new. I have a handful of Snap-On ratchets in my used bucket right now. Including a fine tooth 1/4" I know is in there for sure.

What do you want for them? The shipping might be too much to bother with though.

I love the fine tooth snap-on. We can't even keep a snap-on dealer here, no one else bothers trying. I bought about 1500 in tools over the last year from the one that just quit and I am the service manager.

Used bucket? Damn thats not something any of my dealers ever seem to have. They never have anything used except for boxes.

I buy lots of "used" tools off the tool trucks. Lots of times they are repo tools.
