ok i know this is not about k5's but it IS about chevy's
my friends has a 95-98 2 door tahoe all stock. and his parents want to get him a 2 inch suspension lift and some new tires.and htis is supposed to be a secret from him and his parents need help.
1. Where is the best place to buy rough country suspension lifts on the internet?
2. what size wheels are on stock 95-98 2 door tahoes.
his parents were thinking to get him either 31's or 33's on the stock wheels.
thanks guys for your help. its the holidays! it time to help people out.

The stock wheels are most likely 16x7. He could get a set of 285/75/16. These are equivalent to 33"x11.50x16
Not sure where to get a lift, but he could crank up the torsion bars a couple of inches without any trouble for the front and get some blocks or the 2.5" ORD shackle flip for the rear.. Then just need to get it re-aligned.

i think i am gonna get the lift kit from jc whitney
but i need the wheel size.
are you sure its 16x7?
its a stock 95-98 tahoe 2 door.
thanks

I'm telling you that oyu will get better service from the dealer than you will at "JCPENNYS". LOL!!! But seriously, I have heard tehy have good service and rumore has it that they are negotiable and cheap to begin with but have heard they ride pretty rough, well stiff.

Don't you buy no ugly truck!

I like my 4 inch rough country lift... They have great service... Sent me a replacement shock since oops dropped on eof them... Call tehm I paid 300 for the entire kit with shocks and pitman arm...

Um... yes officer I know it's too big...

thanks for the information guys
i will relay it to his parents.
what in gonna do is give then the jc whitney magazie w/ the lift circled. and then tell them where to get bfg mt bought and put on his stock rims [16x7] and then where to have a magnaflow dual exhaust system and the lift be put on.
i have heard good things about the rough country lift from jc whitney.
he is gonna love this.
even though i am a fan of good year mt/r tires he wants to get the bfg mt...... oh well. hehe
