So because im bored and its raining outside im browsing CL and came across this http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/837493042.html
Hm now the interesting part i have that cantankerous 03 v-6 dodge i can trade off with 46k miles on it. Only reason im tempted is for the 465 in it. The dodge blue books at 6-8k but i got it for free off the dealer lot so anything i make off it is basically free. Id rather have a chevy but want some opinions beforehand.

Price seems steep to me unless the body is perfect. And if it is, you wouldn't want to wheel it.

4 speed Blazers aren't all that rare, and generally none of these trucks are worth very much money.

Plus the 80's K5's are riddled with emissions crap, certainly not the greatest setup. I don't know if you would need emissions test where you are but here in Denver the trucks from the 80's can be a huge PITA to pass.

Just my .02 ;)

True but remember im down in pueblo county and we dont have emissions here. I dont know the va bought the dodge for me and ever since ive had it after the wreck i just really dont like it too much, dont get me wrong its the nicest newest truck ive had but ive been looking at either trading the dodge or selling it and buying a mini burb :D
You are right about the price but then again only thing ive paid for it was the $187 to get it tagged and titled. I dont know my motto is i wont own something i cant work on cause im not paying for labor, i think its rediculous. When the crank/cam sensors went out on it the sensors where 39.99 and 49.99, combined with the labor it came out to $268 total to get it fixed.

ive only seen a few stock 4spds on the western slope but the price is a little high i got my last to 89s for round 1000 bucks

I could be wrong about how common 4 speeds are, I don't shop around for Blazer's too much ;)

Mine's a factory 4 speed, the trans has only been out one time in 30 years and 200K+ and that was for a clutch replacement :pimp:

I rarely see them and 99% of the time i do see em there up north at least past springs. This area has crap for parts and from the looks of it im gonna have to start hunting junkyards in the springs area.
