I need steering help

Ok so I am new to the steering modifications. I picked up an 88 K5 with a six in lift & a dana 44 in the front. I was looking at the steering and it looks like crossover but the draglink runs under the spring to the tie rod. I have never seen this but somebody told me that its an old school way to do crossover. Does anybody know what I am talking about or know a place to find info on this? I just want to know if this is a bad idea or if i can run it until i can do something different. Thanks for the help.

There are alot of fords that use a steering set-up like that. I don't see any issues with it that way and i'm assuming it's been that way for awhile now anyways so just run it.
