...it seemed real watery alsoAcetone will peel some paint that you're trying to cover. May need to blast off the old paint.BIGBLAZE433 said:i put acetone into the paint, but when i started painting, in one little section, it looked all bubbly, so i took a rag and wiped it off and the paint was peeling....what did i do wrong??? i washed the truck...it seemed real watery also

well i`m gonna go with the foam rollers, anything different i should do?ryoken said:yup, it was cringing.... the solvents and acetone in the paint are eating into the substrate.. the thinner you make the paint the more it will do that... As said, you may need to take off whatever layers of paint someone put on there... or just run straight paint on the first coat, then throw a little thinner in the second...
don't get carried away with the thinner.. watery is not a good consistency... remember the poormans viscosity test i told you about? if your brushing it on, you want a drip count off your paint stick of maybe 12 to 15 seconds..
