I pulled out a jeep and a chevy tonight...

The Mud Bath, yeah I have been mud bathed in my jeep ironically by a strait axel chevy but I wasnt stuck just following and he hammered it in two wheel and sprayed mud everywere. Isnt it funny how nobody expects anything from our old trucks.

$400 dollars for being stuck and gettin gpulled out. I was stuck really bad and it took one flat bed and a regular tow truck to get me unstuck. They charged me $750. I paid it because what I had in the truck was worth more. That was what started this whole build and what led me to a bunch of great guys who are worth more than GOLD to me, CK5 brotherhood. I have never had anyone diss me off or talk rudely when I have asked a question. Instead I have had more ways of doing things than possible.

whats worse than wheeling a jeep:confused: well my friend wheeling his nissan xterra:doah: . He kept bragging about how great it was offroad and how he followed his friends lifted jeep all day long. 10 minutes into wheeling he was sunk and stuck in a mud hole I had went through forward and reverse in 2wd. Guess who pulled him out, me and my crappy old chevy. There is no real world dispute about the superiorness of the old strait axel chevy vs. anything. Get them out in the mud and they shut up real quick about how crappy your old chevy is

My old neighbor wheels an xterra. He once tried to tell me that the stock xterra rear axle was just as strong as a 14 bolt. Anyways, he lifted it like 6" and put on 35's and thought he was set to go. He went on a run with me (rocks not mud) and was always lifting a tire and hanging up. There was this stump, probably 3 feet high and really wide (wide enough to plant a tire on)....it started raining and the ground got muddy...I pulled my front tire up to it in 2wd (detroit in the rearend) and just used my low gearing to crawl up and easily park my tire on it. He tried next and couldnt even get the front tire half way up before the truck started bouncing and making weird metal popping noises. He tried like 5 times with no success. He tried in 4hi and 4lo. I think it pissed him off when I told him I figured out a way for him to get up it......he says how....I say forget 4wd, I used 2wd try that.:haha: :haha:

Anyways after that occasion he took the front lift off the crappy ifs, got a sfa and put a D44 under it with coil springs and a lockright. I can vouch to say that the truck performes well offroad now and it has taken some beating. It wont ouwheel my K5 and he kind of sucks at driving...but it does really good. Thing is, the xterra wasnt designed for 35" tire abuse in 4lo....the tcase and tranny are hurting. He has had problems with both.
