i have a 90 k5 and my problem is still gauges staying on and fuel pump on....it was running now when i started it to charge battery and get oil moving it ran like it had a big cam....i hold gas down just a little ran fine....then shut off....i put gas in because gauge was low but would not fire back up? its getting gas and spark from coil....idk what the problem could be......please help im so pissed off.

I'm not a mechanic, just throwing this out there, did you try holding down the skinny pedal and the brake? Run, chug, or nothing at all? Any unusual sounds, I'm wondering if it could be a vacuum line? Again, I'm not a mechanic.

mine was missing real bad for a while i had 2 bad plug wires but anyway i tried to start it one day and it died and wouldn't start back it flooded its self so i just unpluged the injectors and put it on the floor and tried to crank it for a few seconds and it finally kicked off and i ran it untill it ran out of gas in the manifold i would give that a try then you can work on finding your miss

I just read thru your previous thread, you have a wiring problem somewhere!!! Start over because you are not giving anyone enough details to do anything but throw out wild guesses... It could be a short somewhere, a bad ground, something hooked up incorrectly, to a bad ECM... First off, what do you mean by the gauges stay on? Describe in detail what the fuel pump is doing. Write a book, the more info the better. Is this truck completely stock? How long have you had it? Did it ever run correctly? Is the wiring harness all hacked up from a previous owner? Get the idea? Otherwise you're going to get random guesses at what the problem is...
