i think my starters going out, am i right?

every time my truck is on a slight hill, the starter grinds when starting..also does this when its really hot outside and i have been driving awhile..

but when its cool, or i'm on a flat surface..it fires right up with no noise.

Try taking the solenoid apart and clean/file the copper contacts first. My $.02.
