i thought brake fluid was the same as power steering fluid?

i replaced the return line from the box to the pump and filled it w/ brake dot 3 b/c thats all i had in the garage and i still dont have power steering.
 
you can used automatice transfluid in the powersteering system but not brake fluid, drain it and flush the system to get ride of the brake fluid
 
... and hurry, it'll cause the rubber seals to expand (and fail).

:doah: Better flush it out fast. Use tranny fluid or steering fluid.
 
Get that stuff out of there and quick!!!! And don't let it get on the paint. It will eat that also.
