i think u kno wat i mean... the tire carrier! that thing is awesome! combine that with a front bumper with a tall stinger bar on it and any truck would look SICK!!! i just dont know how functional it'd be with my rear doors. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

The Members Rides section is not up yet to see pics here but here is a link to DP_90K5's page. The 2nd pic down from the top is my bumper, it's set up to carry a 42.

yea, the trouble is getting it to work with the barn doors for us sub people. if you could do the fold down number and make it ueseable as a step too to get to the cargo area, that would be good. otherwise it has to swing at least 180 degrees like the doors.

what about making a lift gate? too heavy and what to mount it to. hydraulic cylinders? might work with an exoskeleton. but i'm thinking with my keyboard.

The DP carrier works that way, the bottom end has "hinges" that allow it to tilt down to the ground. In the down position it would be below the bottom of the doors.

wow i really like that one, anny idea on price? i was going to do the bumper kit from 4x4 iron but i really like the tube design better

You will like the rear bumper that Daniel makes. I have had anything from a 30 to a 40" tire mounted on mine. Makes it alot easier to get bulky items in and out of the back of the vehicle too. Just walk right on it.

Just to let you know how strong that thing is, 2 men both around 180lbs have hung off of the back of it to see if we could break it. Well it is still on the back of my truck going strong.

Check out my gallery for some pics. I get alot of looks with the bumpers on.
