Would look great on my 78 El Camino. :D

That's good too know. It'll be awhile before I can afford a hood. I've got other things too spend money on first, LOL.

How hard would it be too install some funtional flapper from a early Chevelle hood in this fiberglass hood ??

You could also , since you can't afford the cowl hood yet , is to make your own "wide" cowl hood :

Take the lines on each side of hood , cut along lines , lift up , and weld in filler strips , thus creating a stock steel "wide" cowl hood

I'm not going too mess with the stock hood. Don't have any of the tools that I'd need, and I'm really in no big hurry. I'm just saying I like this fiberglass hood, and I think it'd be kewl too add some flappers from a early 70's Chevelle, or maybe the hood loovers from a 66 Chevelle, or 68 Camaro.

It would look cool the way you want . I just remember Car Craft doing it in the 90's with a stock hood , looked pretty sweet and the cowl was 2/3rds the width of the hood .

I have seen some tall fiberglass cowl hoods here on Friday nite drags , and those look sweet as hell on your body style :D
