take everything off but ur manifolds or run just headers...it'll sound about like that :D
 
engines that sound like that have huge cubes and VERY high compression. use racing fuel only. run straight headers. A cam that makes anything besides full throttle useless. Pretty much only good for driving about 3 seconds at a time. There are TONS of pro mud racers that sound just that good if not better around here.
I ran straight headers on my old '66 c-10, with a 283..... it sounds nothing short of PISSED OFF, but not nearly as good as that drag truck video. I think the constand inhalation of unfiltered CO (Carbon Monoxide), induced by that setup, has damaged my brain and made me prone to makeing long and incohereant posts :laugh: sorry that wasn't funny, but maybe a little true :wink1:

Ya it has a little bit of power... Honestly tho, I have no use for it. Its all about short bursts and shutting off before it cooks itself. Probly rebuild it every tear. Now when I had a 450 HP 383 in a 72 Nova that was still driveable with purple hornies and it sounded pretty cool. Gear drive whine, lumpy cam, powerful sound that you thought the ground was shaking. It didnt have 30x15 slicks, but it could roast the 255/50's. I'll give props that S-10 has a bad-ass motor, but its drag race only. My wild motor builds have still been somewhat streetable.
 
i installed a quiet gear drive ontime and every one said what did you swap in there it sounds good.
