I have access to a 88 s-10 standard cab long bed and I am really thinking about putting the body onto my k30. Has anybody done this or have some tips, anything would help. Other than steering and clutch linkages I don't really think it will be too bad. Any info will help fellas and or gals, thanks.

Try doing a search, I'm sure it's been covered before. If you do decide to swap, going with a hydro clutch would make that part allot easier. You might want to check out www.pirate4x4.com, seach around their builiten board. Lots of good info over there, even if most of the members are d!cks. It seems if it's not about putting a D60 under your [insert ultra light weight rig that doesn't need a D60] they don't really seem to care, but they do have some good info if you can wade through all the BS. I'm not trying to start a board war, just stating some of my observations...heck I'm even a member at PBB.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Everyone I have talked to about it seems to think it would be a watse of time, maybe that's why I want to do it though to be different!

For those of you that want to keep up on this, I will not be doing any actual work until spring. The reason being that my "shop" is covered in about a foot of snow and really, really cold.(the driveway). I'll keep you posted on any research that I do.
