Whats gonna be the end result of all that swapping?
Here's how they inter-connect:
From the red '83: Motor goes to '85 1-ton, rear lift springs go to '80 GMC, tranny and T-case came out (broken coupler sleeve), rear end goes to Camo Blazer, front 6" springs go to '85 1-ton, front extended shackles and front end went to Camo Blazer.
From the brown '85 3/4 ton that never was finished 100%: Motor goes to an '82 Blazer, 3/4 ton 3.73 axles go in trade to get the '82 Blazer, 465/205 go to '85 1-ton frame, bed goes to '85 1-ton frame, nose clip goes to '84 K5 Blazer, 2" lift gets sold.
From the 1980 GMC: Front Dana 4.56 60 goes to '81 Suburban, motor came out... closed chamber heads go to 454 that will go into '82 Stepside, rear axle goes to Orange '75 Blazer, rear shackle flip goes to Camo Blazer, 2.5" glasspack exhaust goes to '81 Suburban, rear springs go to red '83.
From the '85 1-ton: 350 motor goes to red '83, round pattern 205 gets adapted to NV4500 and goes to Little Crew Cab, front end and wheels get used down the line, exhaust system goes to '80 Chevy, dashpad goes to Big Crew Cab.
From the Orange Blazer: 14-bolt rear with 4.10s and detroit goes to Blue Blazer, Dana 60 front with 4.10s goes to '73 International truck, 4" lift rear blocks go to Suburban.
Other parts thrown into the mix:
1. a 60 front end from Utah Crew Cab that spent the last year under the Diesel goes to '85 1-ton. Front nose from '85 Suburban goes onto '85 1-ton with High Sierra 3500 emblems.
2. Into '80 GMC- 14-bolt with Detroit Locker and 4.88's, Roller 454, Dana 60 front with 4.88s.
3. Into Orange Blazer- Dana 44 front with detroit and 4.56's, rear shackle flip, 327 motor, TH350 and NP205.
4. Into red '83- 14-bolt rear from parts truck, SM465/205 from another parts truck, 4" lift from '78 K5, dual exhaust from '79 parts truck.
In the end of the ones sitting in a cluster torn apart right now I want to end up with:
1983 Chevy K20, 14-bolt full floater and Dana 44 4.10, 4" lift and 35's, 350, SM465/205.
1985 GMC 3500, Goodwrench 350 with Isky 270 cam, Edelbrock intake, headers, dual flowmaster exhaust, 6" suspension lift, SM465/205 10-spline with hydro clutch, 14-bolt full-floater posi rear, Dana 60 front 4.10, 35" BFGs on aluminum rims, maybe a winch bumper and winch, rear chrome drop bumper. This will be a driver and the closest thing I have to a nice bodied "show" truck.
1980 GMC, roller 454, 32-spline 465/205,10" overall lift, 4.88 gears, detroit in rear 14-bolt, Dana 60 front, 39.5" Boggers, Warn M12000, Dual 3" Flowmasters and header dumps, basically the same as before in overall look.
1975 Orange K5, 327, TH350/NP205, 14-bolt with Detroit, Dana 44 with Detroit, 4.56 gears, 35 or 36" tires, 7" lift (4+3). Mud racer.
1984 K5 Blazer, SB400, SM465/205, 14-bolt rear with Detroit, Dana 60 front, 4.10s, 7" lift, 35's on Centerline rims, Warn 9000lb winch. Passenger/driver rig.
1976 Camo Blazer, 454 (or 402), SM465/NP205, 14-bolt with Detroit and 4.88's, Dana 60 front welded with 4.88's, rear shackle flip and add-a-leafs, 6" front springs with extended shackles, 38-42" tires, Warn 8274. Trail rig.
1981 Suburban 454, NV4500, NP205, 6" lift, Dana 60, 14-bolt, 4.56's, 35" BFGs, Warn 8274. Passenger vehicle.
1981 Big Crew Cab, 454 or 496, 2wd manual tranny 4spd or 5spd, divorced Dodge NP205, Dana 60 and 14-bolt, 5.13's, 44" Gumbo Mudders, 15" lift, Ramsey Winch. Just to be big.
