I will never put _____ on my truck

No stupid duty shock towers or HP D60s?

Shock towers no. Can make my own better design if need be.

DANA made parts for everyone. So them and New Process are neutral in brand loyalty.:smirk:

I'll start
I will never never support this website by buying a membership for getting so much help on my truck

Fixed for you buddy.

I love my pillar gauges and stack...they serve a purpose...keep a check on vitals and the stack provides a nice loud turbo whistle. But I'm not white, so I can't be a redneck...:haha:

I will never put a visor on my truck or trail rig though...:D

One thing i CAN say is i'll never have just one stack on my truck. It looks so out of place IMO. Most of the ones i've saw were right in the middle of the rear window or if it's a slider just off to one side or the other. That and they are like 8" round too

Spinners and Curb Feelers!!!!! Both serve no purpose what so ever. IMO if you need curb feelers you need to re-learn how not to hit the curb!

Z71 sticker (The Z71 was not a GM option in the 70's. The K5 is a 75) Can't tell you how many GOB's have these on there 70ty something 2wd p/u. Ranks up there with a little 2wd yota I saw that had NOPI spelled out with duct tape!!!!!!

Its interesting you say that Randy. I was planning to just do a 4" exhaust to the back, but then a buddy gave me the stack. To me 2 stacks looks silly, even more silly are stacks over the cab roof. I don't really brag about my stuff, but I really like the way my stack setup came out. It sits below the cab roof by about 5 inches, I retained my auxillary tank, and it sounds bad to the bone. Maybe later I'll post up a better picture...

That does look bad ass, I was gonna do a larger single, but I use EVERY single inch of my bed often enough that I decided to keep it underneath (plus a white truck idn't so white anymore when your rollin' the coals:D)

I think you mean Taurus. Your reaching really hard now. How many cars came with electric fans in the past 25 years now?
Nah a Taurus fan is just one fan, Windstars have two different sized fans. The shroud fits almost perfectly over a square body Chevy radiator. Ford made and used some good parts over the years, I wouldn't drop in a Ford engine or transmission but some of there parts are worth using even if they are from a Ford

To continue being a pain in the ass, I've seen several people say "no cats". If you are running FI, I'd recomend running cats. Good high flow cats don't hurt anything, and make it much more pleasant to be behind your truck on the trail.

Having said that, I have a TBI and no cat because it was already gone when I bought it, but when I redo the exhaust I plan to drop a couple cats back in. They don't cost much, don't hurt power (maybe a couple hp), are easy to install if you are redoing the exhaust anyway, and make your truck 98% cleaner.

I think it is probably too much of a hassle with carbs though. The chances of ruining the cats are much higher.

fake anything - (vents, beadlocks, carbon fiber, chrome)
an expensive paint job
alloy rims
low profile tires
a carburetor
a computer
air conditioning

regarding truck nutz, ill never do the moulded, anatomically correct ones, but ive got two 3 inch hardware nuts, and a length of chain. nuts will be welded to the chain on each end, and hung from the rear bumper.
