Coworker of mine just hung a set on his Ranger. Older guy. Nice guy but yeah...I did the "cooooool" and fake smile thing.:crazy:
He needs better tires so I'm sidling up to make sure he doesn't go out and do something stupid when he does get them.

Oh, and my buddy had a similar idea on his "nuts". Word of warning - he used dog chain and it lasted like 2 road salt winters before disappearing one day.

No worse than anything else on Michigan roads in the winter.
 
What's wrong with that? The lines of a stepside and fleetside both look pretty good on a '67-'72. '73-'87, not so much. I will agree that the stock beds do look best though.
 
The newer beds look fine, each has their own opinion.:D I kinda like mine. Heres a pic for ya...lol ;)...na i wont do that to you.
It helps to have the 89-91 rad support...a little anyway. I dont like the look of the older trucks with the newer bed, the wheelwell on the fender is round and the beds square.

Non-factory front bumper/grill (its a 71... might as well try to make it look clean)

air horn
pretty much, anything too obnoxious (although i have used a confederate flag as a bikini top... and ran open headers... and dual 6' dune flags... but nothing too hard on the eyes)

i have some pro comps m/t tires on the rubicon. worst pieces of crap i have ever owned. sooooo.

i will not put anything made by pro comp on my junk. there are 2 companys that use that name. one makes engine parts, and they are garbage too. they make some aluminium sbc heads. i saw a dyno test on 383, and it was pathetic. they took those heads off and slapped on some used vortecs and made like 30hp more.
neither company will gets my money.

i got pro comp rear springs.had em for 10 years and they ride nice.never had their tires though.they just came out with a new mud terrain i believe but who knows if it is any good.
ill add ill never have fuel injection and probably never ahve a dana 60 front.got a 14 bolt out back though.
