So me being stupid i decided to take my blazer over the larger portion of an iced up snow drift. Almost made it over but then bam, dead stop and had her teeter tottering. Finally had her push off backwards with my friends bronco. I really like taking her over **** but i think im going to need a skidplate after i put in a new exhaust. I cracked my y pipe near the connection to the pass side exhaust mani. I needed to replace it anyway and my muffler is bent from a eroded beach entrance. Cant do this anymore after i get my new exhaust. Looking back it was pretty stupid, im surprised i didnt mess up my forward shaft. sorry pics are bad, it was from the girlfriends phone. I did destroy my friends front end though haha.

:haha::haha::haha: Just lift it and put some 35's and then you can get stuck in deeper snowdrifts. I drove up one at walmart last year and buried myself up to the rockers and had to shovel out while people laughed at me .

Several years ago I had a cherokee. One night it was snowing and people was plowing parking lots. I pulled up to one snow pile and it was nice and soft. so around 3 am after people were done piling up snow i went and busted through the piles. It was alot of fun, hit them at about 25-30mph and they would explode. There was kids in town watching me do this.
(small town kids just hang out on main)

Well the next night after wheeling out in the cedars I came rolling through town, and there in the grocery store parking lot was a s-10 blazer on its side. It looked like he was trying to bash through the snow piles like I had the night b4. But didnt take into consiteration they had melted during the day and froze almost solid that night. looked like he tried to hit just a little bit with the driver side and it flipped him on the pass side.

Now I know that maybe it was foolish for me to do it, but I watched where the piles were placed (so I didnt hit something burried) and knew it was SOFT powder snow when I did it. Also I had a good bumper and a pre-runner style alum. skid plate. My friends and I where laughing pretty hard after we stopped to see if they was alright. Then we pushed the s-10 back on its wheels. Damage wasnt too bad got the mirror and door handle some small dents broke the pass side door glas but didnt break the rear side glass.

The moral of the story is always know whats under the snow and make sure its soft enough to go through.

You got stuck on that lil hill? What was under all that snow?

Looks like fun, sorta kinda. lol

I tried wheelin on the beach by myself in the snow last year at least you had a friend with you! It took me 45 minutes to dig out and it didnt even look stuck! It was also blowing sand and snow and really cold.:o What parkin lot is that?:laugh:

I hate getting stuck on stupid crap like that. There was a period where I could take my old '85 k5 through anything and not get stuck.....up in tell 2 winters ago it was RAINING so me and a few friends went to the movies well after words my best friend mike said lets go mudding. I had a bad felling about it but said what the heck. Well to make a long story short a bulldozer had to pull my truck out about 3 days later.
Ever since if I go through a puddle I'll get stuck. I guess I lost it. I don't have it in me to go mudding any more. haahh

haha, i knew i prob wouldnt make it but i had to try anyway. I knew i had my friend with me so, i wont do anything really retarded without him and his bronco there. Ditto for him. The parking lot was in centereach behind the bank next to pathmark if you klnow it
