ID a chromo shaft?

how can i tell if i have a set of chromo shafts for my rear axle? will they look any different from stockers? i dont remember my old ones being like this but are these anything special? i took this just the other day just because but got me thinkin after i looked at it again.

Look at the end that sticks out the hub of your rims , those are usually flat and raised like a hat if aftermarket or has an indent with the manufacturer there ( which are not all chro mos , but stronger than stock anyway ) , where stockers are usually concave in that area and very rough like cast appearance .
