I'd like to test out the new 14-bolt, but I have no rear brakes....

Will I be ok, if I just go slow around the neighborhood? All the kids are at school so I won't run over anyone :D

My rear brake line is cut and the front reservoir (for the rear brakes) is empty. Will the front brakes still function? I'm not going to go on any main road or anything.

I drove my truck around like that for about a month. Then some stupid **** in a Jaguar decided to pull out in front of me, front brakes did nothing. Ended up crossing a ditch and got the truck on 2 wheel for about 100 feet across a field. Lets say poop touched cotton. For around the block I would not worry about it. Around town never again.

That's asking for trouble.

I just drove it around the neighborhood, it was fine. The 14-bolt is installed correctly I guess

The brakes worked ok. I did some function testing in the driveway first. Now I have to fix the damn brake line.

It won't hurt anything, front brakes do most of the braking anyway.
