I got a lead on some body parts and this person has these.Iam thinking a slip yoke 205 and a turbo 350.he wants 250.00 for the pair I want a 205 to rebuild but ill have to get rid of the slip yoke and keep my rig running while its getting done.

Yes, t350 mated to a slip 205.

Edit: Guess I should explain, the cut corner on the trans identifies it as a 350. The 205 is identifiable by its lack of planetary housing between the trans and the passenger side extension for the front end.
 
I have an 80 205 slip yoke in my stepside, works fine and never had a problem. Id like to convert it but am in no hurry for the time being since it is fine, I do have an 8inch lift and 39s so it takes a beating. Yes like said its a th350 and im not totally sure i think the slip yoke 205 is 1980 only.
 
'80 was the most common year to find the slip 205. The TH350 pretty much 'dates' that combo...

yep, good eye, its a BOPC TH350 with a 1980 t/c adapter and np205...Definate swappin going on, won't just bolt to a small block chevy...
 
Good eye there! I had emailed this guy to tell him about it.He does state it in the add it's for a chevy.He wont just sell me the 205,But he said he needs the money??:confused:

Anyone notice the bellhousing bolt pattern? Somebody has done some swappin.
