I have a wicked LED lightbar that I want to mount in the back of my Blazer. I want to put it on the topper, in the back and centered. Basically just on the inside where the window does up into.

I want to just extend the wiring from the existing LED light back there, I dont want the wires visible, is it possible to run the wire from the org. interior light thru the topper (is it hollow?) to the center of the topper?

Y'all following ??

If youve done this, can ya post pics.

I mounted a rubberized tractor light just behind the rear slider window and ran wiring through the topper so Yes it is possible.

Im wanting to basically stay the same height that the rear interior light is at and just run the wire to the center of the topper. I wasnt sure if the top part was hollow and not sure how to actually run the wire, it would have to bend around that corner.

Ok, now I understand, you want to mount the light centered between the sides of the topper on the inside. I'm pretty sure the topper is not solid but you could easily remove the rear cargo light and take a peek.

Uhm no. lol.

The problem with removing the rear light, I can only see the side. I have no idea what is in the corner and the back section of the topper.

I know someone cut one open to show everyone awhile back, i might have to try and find that thread.

trying to remember since I cut my old topper to throw away. I remember the ends had steel in them and in the center ribs also had little strips. I know the end over the window is hollow but not sure if feeding around the corner is possible. :(

I have one out back if you cant find it lemme know where you want to run wires I will cut it open and see if you can :D

Ok, here you go, I grew a white line where i want the wire to go and the white rectangle will be where the light be. Looks like there is a rib in the center of the topper, so the light wire may have to poke out before the center.

Two other thoughts.
First, even though its LED, make sure the wiring will handle the extra load.
Second, why are you bothering to add an inside light to a truck with for sale signs on all the windows........
