ideas for a powerplant

i just finished converting my little brothers k5 to d44 14b sm465 205 now i have the leftovers gm10b x2 th700r4 208 i also have a 91 2wd s10 that would like to grow up a little if you know what i mean so im thinking of putting all that 1/2t stuff under the s10 but i would also like to keep the weight low and not alot of power ( dont want to break everything first trip out) i been thinking about the gm 181 iron duke 4 popper used in marine applications or the regular 151 iron duke and would like some oppinions or ideas
NOTE: the iron duke is not what came in s10s caviliers ect. it came in early nova and chevy II's
