Gentlemen,

I have a '75 K10 that I want to put back on the road as a DD / toy. Current setup is 350/350/203, from what I can tell it has the Dana 44 up front and GM 10 bolt in the rear running 3.08 gears (that's what the factory sticker says, but I question it). The truck runs good and actually rides really good considering the "homemade" lift which looks about 3 on the body and 3 on the suspension. Basically it is a stock truck, only the motor has been touched.

My questions are:
Is ORD the only place that sells a twin stick setup for the 203? My shifter is junk and everything I've read on here, that is a common. I'm interested in building my own, but will be crunched for time.

Any suggestions as far as tire size and tread?
It will be a daily driver at least until March time frame. It currently has 31x1-.5 15's and they look like donut spare tires on it. I'm looking for a streetable tire that I can still off-road when needed, plus I'm hoping it's a wicked winter in OK this year!

It does need a new gear box, which I have found very reasonable. What is the advantage of doing a cross over steering setup using the 2WD gear box?

I'm already planning on adding the gear box brace while I'm replacing the gear box. I recently picked up a '82 crew cab C30 just because it was cheap enough. I am going to swap the front clips as the '75 came from Denver as a snow plow truck and is rusted bad (not to mention the damn hood). I will have some parts left over from the C30 if anyone is interested, I will get some pics up here after I get started.

I would appreciate any ideas offered!
