Did a manual/hydro swap on my 88 burb and dont recall where these go. My 91 doesn't appear to have them and my 86 is at a friends house. I have driven the burb without these but am finally "buttoning" things up. these were with the parts in and around the steering column and auto pedals... should have finished the job in a timely fashion but didn't :doah: the rod in the white piece slides if that helps.
Thanks-
*its also possible I got these mixed in with my swap*

Even if they were "mixed up", they came from under the dash so... show some expertise and let me know what they are...

My guesses are;

Neutral safety switch and DRAC bracket

Let me know if & what I win. :D

The white thing is the neutral safety switch, the braket... Dunno

nvrenuf and imiceman44 I agree with the neutral safety switch, I don't need that anymore. What do you win? The next time you welcome someone to the site who hasn't become a member... well you can tell them joining will be the best 25 dollars they ever spent. How's that sound? As far as the bracket goes I would need a pic to see where it belongs, its far from obvious and I have the dash completely apart. Thanks gentlemen.

If it is a DRAC bracket then it would go kind of behind the radio.

DRAC bracket was my first hunch, but thats not what it is.

What it is, i dont' know.

your all wrong but close on switch.

not a drac bracket see my pic for one of those that mounts under radio . looks like cruise control moduel or other bracket just like the one i removed the other day from pass side above gas pedal on brake pedal bracket just above brake light switch that holds firewall to dash and sandwiches the steering cloume to all of it.

and its a clutch safty switch .

do i win anything ?

I've got the cruise control bracket, that mounts to and on the bottom of the column. Clutch safety switch? This was an auto which I swapped out for a manual. I can't actually find any plugs that even fit it. If that is what it is seems I might want it... a pic would be great if anyone can come up with one. The bracket I'm not worried about, there isn't anything I need to secure that can't do without it. Nothing won just yet but your close...

I went back out to my 91 (stopped raining for about 5 min) and found that bracket :D what do you win? When my membership expires I will re-up so that you"ll be able to help me for another year!

I don't know why I said neutral, maybe because the guy before me said so, But it's clutch switch that I meant, and I know it because I bypassed it on mine, I hate it that I can't move the truck or bump it with the starter and in gear.

I believe you both but don't understand how I've driven my rig without it? I also don't know where it goes? Or where I got it since my burb was an auto. Pics anyone? Was it attached to my hydro pedals somehow?

Yes it is attached to the hydro pedals.
If your truck is auto, you won't need this unless you want to have the feature that I HATE, as I said I deleted it myself.
