I'm not sure where I got this pic from, maybe ck5, but I like the look of these seats. Do you guys know what they came out of? Looks like they have a tag that says "side airbag" so I'm assuming they are out of something newer, not aftermarket. They have a nice look to em with out the big side bolsters, which would make it hard to get in and out of. Any other suggestions on seating are welcome. They are for my old/new 90' K5. Thanks, Steve

I would rule out aftermarket with the seat belt being attached.

You mean seatbelt base attached like these? If so, couldn't I just remove it and use the body mount base that I already have? Or are you talking about the shoulder belt attaching through the seat? I won't be using harnesses, just stock style belts.

Strike all that, I see what you are saying now. duhhh.

I'm not 100% but I am thinking VW or Audi , they look very similar to the seats in my brothers 01 A6 and to the seats in his 05 Jetta.

These are the seats in the A6

They are for sure a factory seat, and look familiar to me. Maybe '06-'07 Monte Carlo?

I am thinking Dodge pickup

OOPS... Didn't see the tilt forward levers before I stuck my foot in my mouth.

I found some real nice Recaro seats I like but they are $1000.00 each. :yikes:

If you are dead set on bucket seats, then this will be of no use to you. But if your options are open to a split bench with folding console...

At least it may give you other ideas.

I just found something similar at suburbanseating.com. That may be the way I'm going. My wife wants to have a more open seat where she can stretch out. As great as the bolsters look, I just don't want them for cruising for a few hours at a time and ease of entry/exit. We purposely ordered my wife's car without the sport package so we didn't have the big bolstered seats. Thanks for the info.
