Idle issue

I have a 92 1500 with the 350. I am having issues with it idleing at stop lights. It will only die when the enigine warms up to operating temp. When its cold it has no problems sitting and indleing. Any help would be awesome

Have you gotten codes checked?

I'd check the coolant temp sensor. Check resistance on it to see if it's good. Those things are known to cause weird retarded stuff of those things. Also check your EGR and make sure its working properly. May be carbon fouled and stuck. Just a couple simple things first.

The check engine light is not on. I have already put a new EGR valve on.

When it idles warm it idles between 600 and 700rpms

IAC working? Sometimes things won't pop a light on. You just have to check the resistance in them or pull them and test them. I have seen frozen IAC's on OBDI vehicles and not have codes.
