idle problem due to pcv

Hello,
I took my stock pcv valve off and put on a edelbrock pcv valve. Now my truck is ideling funny and when I hit the gas it take a little longer for the truck to idel back down.
Then when I put my stock pcv valve back on it ran like a dream

is it clogged or stuckj somehow? return it and get a new one to check to see if that is it
