Idle Question (again)

I posted earlier that my Jimmy (6.2, 700R4) was idling too high, almost as if it wasn't coming off cold idle once it warmed up (which it does pretty quickly).

Last night the idle maxed, like I had it floored. Seriously, without being in gear and me standing up on the brake pedal, it would have run to red line and beyond. This particular 6.2 cannot take that kind of abuse.

So, what's gone wrong now?
