Heres the pic we got of my friend Ben jumping one of his hummers. At the crest of his flight the skid plates were about 7 feet off the ground, he could have easily cleared a car. He had to be sore in the morning after the landing, it bottomed the bumpstops HARD and bounced twice. I'm amazed nothing broke, I guess they really are built like a tank!

I've never actually seen one hit, but I've seen the aftermath. The tires can bounce over a mile away. I don't think thats much of a waste, I'd take my old CUCV that I drove through Iraq over a Hummer any day!
