Like the title says, if you had to spend $750 on tools, what would you get? Looking more towards the big ticket items you can't live without- I have pretty all your standard hand tools and storage, battery impacts, grease gun, etc. so looking for something unique or something I haven't thought of.

I have the older standard digital ones from Snap-On at home in my stuff. My work buys all my tools now days and I have the 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 ones in the newer torque angle style from Snap-On. Of course, that was like 7 or 8 yrs ago I got them.

CAT offers some decent looking ones if you get a deal on Cat through work or something. They're the older style split beam clicker ones. Haven't looked at them specifically but Carlyle tools from Napa has some digital ones too I think, I like the rest of their tools.

I am assuming you already have welder and plasma cutter?

A high quality torque wrench. You probably won’t need it very often but when you do it’s worth it’s weight in gold.

Spent about 700 on the harbor freight titanium plasma cause my miller has been in service for months now. I needed one and boy I tell ya it’s not a bad buy at all.

I use a torque wrench every time I rotate tires. Or remove/install tires in the shop. I'd even take to tire shop when buying tires. If you don't have a good 1/2" torque wrench you should get one.

How about HP Tuners interface ?

Trade my old school Craftsman bar type torque wrenches for digital. But not priority.
Plasma cutter
Blasting cabinet
Parts washer
3/8 electric ratchet
Don't need much else, them be the bigger ticket stuff.

I recently got all new chrome sockets, thinking of going the same route with impact beings I have a 3/8 and 1/2 Milwaukee now....

I would probably spend $250 on a pair of old crap snowmobiles, then spend a grand or two to make them work right, plus 1 mllion hours of labor and hundreds in shop heat. Eventually we might ride as many hours as invested in work. Don't follow me for financial advice.

This is how I feel about tractors at the moment.

My wife is not thrilled
